I spend a lot of time looking down into and across what is known as "Time Square," a brightly lit and bustling area that suddenly begins right around 42nd Street and down 7th, for this is a few blocks from where I work. Today, like many other days, I wonder...when did Time Square begin to resemble Las Vegas?
