I have just sent my acceptance email to the Toldeo family in Madrid and will be living with this curly-haired wonder for the year come September. María, Jimena's mother, is a curator for a contemporary non-profit art organization and owns-ahem-over 2000 of Goya's prints. Her husband Ignacio is an architect and comes home every day to meet his wife for lunch in their flat in el centro de Madrid.
"María, I've been thinking, been thinking about moving 'cross the sea maybe, somewhere cold and magnificent. This is my time and it's high time this bird flew the coup."
