Here are the images from my thesis exhibition back in April.
Three paintings, 3x3'6", hung in this order depicting the symbol of my body as it is present amongst the symbols of my childhood.
Hung to either side of these paintings were five 3x3' maps, the centers of which were detailed with drawings of my memories of the floor plans of the home I grew up in.
I have recently completed my BFA from Biola University and working on the drawings...really bad drawings...for the next body of work. Also, I will be working up at the Idyllwild Arts Academy for the summer and then moving to Madrid in the fall. Please contact me if you know anyone who will be doing the same as I do not know anyone in either location!
