Jennifer Bartlett did a series of paintings in the late 90's titled "Air: 24 Hours." The paintings in the series, all the same size and all based off of a time based, mathematical grid have been bouncing around in my mind lately. The images are difficult to find online, but a bright pink book with full color plates of the images by Deborah Eisenberg was published in 1995 and is relatively inexpensive on Amazon.com
