cellular life.

I am torn. Some of the happiest moments in my life have been those when I have been able to turn off my cell phone and leave it behind me. We simply cannot mediate time as contemporary culture demands that we do: constantly refering to our cell phone in every situation. On the other side of this coin, I sometimes find myself literally watching my phone as if my stare will urge the person I wish to call to do so.

And so my question is this: Are cell phones good? -A broad question yes, but an important one I think. As for right now, for tonight, I say damn the lot of them.
